Well they did it!! Maelen's team won their division of CIF. They went undefeated the whole season and even in CIF! Those are great stats for a sophomore goalie who only started playing the sport as a freshman. The seniors on the team had the whole varsity team go out to dinner and celebrate last night. The whole day was a great early birthday present for Maelen.

Congratulations Maelen! It must have been a fantastic experience. This weekend Mike and I saw a bumper sticker that made us laugh ....Second Place is the First Loser.
Michelle - I love that bumper sticker. In the spirit of poor sportsmanship, we also like to say there may be no "I" in team, but there is an "I" in win!! ha ha
